Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: business details, contact information, and call preferences. Our AI processes call recordings to provide transcriptions and summaries. We also collect usage data to improve our services.
How We Protect Your Data
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Call recordings are stored securely and automatically deleted after 90 days unless you choose to retain them. We undergo regular security audits and maintain SOC 2 compliance.
How We Use Your Information
Your data powers your AI receptionist — handling calls, booking appointments, and sending notifications. We analyze aggregated, anonymized data to improve our AI models. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Your Rights & Controls
You can access, export, or delete your data anytime from your dashboard. You control notification preferences, call recording settings, and data retention policies. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
We partner with trusted providers: Twilio (telephony and SMS), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Each partner maintains their own privacy standards and complies with applicable regulations. We share only the minimum data necessary for service delivery.
Communications
We send transactional emails (call summaries, booking confirmations) and occasional product updates. You can opt out of non-essential communications anytime. Critical account and security notifications cannot be disabled.
SMS Messaging & Consent
When a caller reaches a business powered by meclient and the call is not answered, our system may send one automated SMS acknowledging the missed call and offering to help. End users may also opt in to SMS by entering their phone number into a booking form on a business microsite (e.g., yourbusiness.meclient.com). We send appointment reminders, booking confirmations, follow-ups, and, with consent, referral offers. Message frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, reply STOP to cancel.
